Having enjoyed studying Mathematics Bsc at Kings College London (completed in 2020), I would like to develop students' confidence in maths.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in a primary school as a teaching assistant helping students with their maths, marked year 6 maths exams and also explained maths to 3rd year Mathematics degree students. Here is what one of the degree students has to say:

I believe Ishtiak is an excellent teacher as I have benefited from his teaching in many ways. I have developed a deeper understanding of various modules including Mathematical Finance I, Mathematical Finance 2 and many more. He explains the material in a practical way which makes it easier to visualise how formulas work, how to breakdown problems and the reason behind it. His method of teaching is consistent throughout the modules I have asked help for, and it has benefited me a lot by making my work and revision more efficient. I was able to easily understand the concepts and apply my understanding correctly to solve problems on my own. His ability to breakdown complex material into something basic and understandable has made learning the modules more efficient and enjoyable. Furthermore I have developed the skill to try to breakdown the content myself into something that is easily understandable, making me able to learn content and solve problems independently.
