I am a Politics, Government and History tutor. I have over 7 years' experience of teaching (GCSE & A-Level, Higher Education, adult education and private tutoring). I possess a PhD in Politics (2020) and have taught at universities in the UK, Europe and North America.

I am keen to help tutor those seeking exam boosters (GCSE/A-Level), pre-university applicants or those (of any age) who want to further their interest in Politics and History. I am happy to teach either in-person or online, according to the learner's preference.

I have taught since 2013. This has included teaching Politics, International Relations, History, Geography, Sociology and American Studies. This has included private tuition at GCSE, A-Level and university levels.

Tutoring Approach

I am interested in the learner as an individual. I don't "teach by rote" or dish out endless amounts of worksheets, etc. I like to sit down with you and work out what your needs are and how we can get to some clear goals/interests for you.

Above all else, I want my students to discover that love of questioning and exploring in their learning. I like my sessions to have an energetic and engaging atmosphere, powered by a love of the subject.
