I have a Mathematics and Statistics degree from Newcastle University, and a degree in Economics from the University of Leeds. I am very keen on sports, especially football, tennis and cricket, and I also like to travel.

Tutoring Experience

I have 8 years of tutoring experience to date, both face to face and online. Over 95% of students I have worked with have achieved their desired grades or better, and I have 100% positive feedback for my services.

I offer tutoring in any strand of Maths at GCSE or A Level, including Further Maths, Decision Maths, Mechanics and Statistics.

Tutoring Approach

I am friendly and outgoing, and aim to create a calm and enjoyable atmosphere, as I believe that this is the best way for teachers to teach, and students to learn. I like to have a variety of approaches to learning the same topic, to keep things interesting, and also because different people learn certain things in different ways. I like to keep things organised, and provide all the equipment (books, pens etc.) for students. I am contactable outside of lesson time to the fullest extent possible, and always try to help out with any additional questions students may have.
