Having studied maths at university and completed my Masters with a 1st, I have since worked in pricing in the insurance industry and am considering a career change into teaching.
I taught and interviewed candidates for 5 years with The Linacre Institute, a charity helping talented students from underfunded areas get into top universities.
I am a patient teacher and enjoy finding new angles to approach problems from to help people understand the concepts rather than just apply methods. I find this cuts down massively on the amount of revision needed as its so much easier to remember what you understand.
