I'm a qualified secondary physics teacher, and fluent french speaker, based in Nottingham.
Having spent 9 years working as an engineer at Rolls-Royce on aero-engine design I like to bring my real-world experience and enthusiasm for physics into my tutoring. I also studied and worked for a time in France which gave me a love for language, an appreciation for French culture and helped me to become fluent in French.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience as a secondary science/physics teacher at The Redhill Academy.
I also have experience with one-to-one physics A-level and French GCSE tutoring.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to meet my student on whatever level of skill or engagement they have and advance from there. Getting to know their likes/dislikes and a bit about their hobbies is the most effective way I have found to engage them. There's always a link to be made with someones interests to either physics or French. I promise :)
More practically though, I follow and reinforce what is being taught at school, extending where appropriate, and will help with revision strategies when exams are approaching.
