I am teaching in The John Fisher School and hold PGCE with QTS & MSc in Mathematics with 5 years of full-time teaching experience in a British School in Dubai (UAE). I consider myself to be a high achiever, committed to exceeding targets, with excellent team leading skills as well as a good team player. I can demonstrate key social skills and can communicate effectively with a diverse audience. I am outgoing, reliable, ambitious, and always willing to learn and take responsibility. I can use initiative to focus and create quality solutions to problems. I enjoy new challenges, have good time management skills, and am dedicated in all that I do.

Tutoring Experience

I am Mathematics graduate with MSc in Mathematics and is currently in UK. I was working with Dubai Grammar School which is an international school following a British National Curriculum since November 2016. I have a wide range of teaching experience both at Key Stage 2 and 3.

Tutoring Approach

My method of teaching mathematics is based on the philosophy that the way to learn mathematics is to be actively engaged in the learning process. Instead of having students come to class and passively watch me "do mathematics" in front of them, I make the students "do mathematics" during every class. This hands-on approach began on the first day of teaching experience in Dubai Grammar School.
I can convey my own enthusiasm to the students, and it supports them to become more confident and creative in their approach to the subject. I am passionate about teaching mathematics because I think that it is a very practical subject and useful in our everyday life. I try to make the lessons relevant for students by giving them real life situations to work on.
