Martine is lovely and I am enjoying my weekly lessons with her. She is flexible with timings too which is great for me. She is patient and doesn’t rush me at all. Thank you Martine

Martine listened to my request as to the areas of the French language that I wish to improve on and has been very sympathetic and professional. Although it is still early days I look forward to Martine's guidance and personal one-to-one teaching to help me to rapidly improve towards my goals. I am very happy with the professional relationship we are developing and look forward to future lessons.

Billie and Martine are getting on very well only had a couple of lessons . Martine discuss what she has done in her French lessons and they go over what she has learnt and how to pronounce her words .

My son has had 3 lessons with Martine now to help him prepare for GCSE. Martine has established a really good relationship with my son, and he says he finds the lessons very helpful. Martine takes time to establish where help is needed. Most importantly, my son looks forward to his lessons and his French grades are improving too. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with my son’s GCSE result. He came away from his first session with Martine and said how much more French he knew than before!! The sessions are engaging and extremely helpful.

My daughter needed a boost in French for her GSCE exams. I found Martine on this website and my daughter started lessons. Martine was consistent with her lessons and boosted my daughters confidence. She exceeded her predicted grade and got an A!

Martine has taught my son French for 1 year and a half. At beginning, when my son was in the second term of Year 9, his French was rubbish and the exam result was 4. Now he has made a great improvement. The result of his Y10 final French exam was 8, very impressive. Big thanks to Martine, who is very patient, enthusiastic and flexible. I definitely recommend Martine to other students who is struggling with French.

Martine is a native speaker and is very precise in teaching me the accurate pronunciation. Her lessons are a good mix of lighthearted and progression in learning based around my exact needs. Together we continue to explore ithe many gaps in my knowledge. I also like the fact that she can put right certain curious “ french” phrases that I have been taught incorrectly. Plus discovering how contemporary french is really spoken…

Having had lessons with a number of tutors in the local area, Martine stood head and shoulders above the rest. She helped develop my confidence in my spoken French enormously and I loved her style of teaching.
10/10 would recommend to anyone at any level!

I am very happy with Martine. I was looking for a tutor to help me learn colloquial French. Martine was prompt to reply to my initial questions and very flexible in what I wanted. I have no doubt that Martine will be just as excellent a tutor for GCSE or A level revision as she is for generally learning a language! Thorough, enjoyable and I am definitely making progress far quicker than when I was at school!

Very fastidious and gentle in her approach which is exactly what I like and Martine is very keen that I speak with the proper accent. I'm looking forward to spending more time with her.

In November 2016 I barely knew any French, and Martine helped me go from not even beginner's level to obtaining a A* GCSE in French the following summer! I wasn't having any other French lessons, so with Martine's help alone I obtained this grade! Being a French native, Martine is amazing at helping pronunciation and has given me so much confidence. Also very friendly and approachable which has given me something to look forward to in the sessions. Very highly recommended! :) merci beaucoup!

Martine has been fabulous. Last year my 16 year old was struggling with French GCSE and it was doubtful he was going to pass. With the help of Martine he got a B. She is now helping my other son with Common Entrance and we will continue with her support hopefully to GCSE french for him too

Martine helps you find your own level and work pace. She is adaptable, extremely supportive and occasionally challenging which is important. I'd give her 4.5. I enjoyed my lessons with her and will probably take them up again when my current life pattern changes.

Martine is a fantastic tutor. My daughter early enjoyed spending time really learning the language. Her grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and confidence all improved immeasurably and her final GCSE grade was the A* she dreamed of. Martine is warm and friendly, encouraging and suitably exacting. I earthly recommend her.

Martine is excellent. Very accomodating. Quick to realize what the student needs. I love to hear her speak French!

Always well prepared for the lesson and knows where we got to the week before. Is a stickler for pronunciation. I enjoy the lessons and so am encouraged to study.
