I am a 40 year old professional tutor of Maths. I have been a resident and tutor for the Crewe and Nantwich area for over a decade.

Unfortunately, with the current Coronavirus situation, I am only able to hold lessons over skype.

I offer one-hour sessions starting at 4pm or 7pm, as well as early-afternoon sessions for those students with regular afternoons off.
Lessons are weekly during term-times, but can be held during some of the holidays as well if desired.

Tutoring Experience

Over a decade of teaching maths at all levels, and to all abilities.

A-level Exam boards whose syllabuses that I frequently cover include AQA, Edexcel/Pearson and OCR.
University modules commonly cover Real Analysis, Complex Analysis and Calculus, Differential Equations, PDEs, Groups, Rings & Fields, Linear (vector) algebra, Metric Spaces, Elementary Number Theory, Vector Calculus, Probabilty/Stats, and applied topics for physics, computing and management. Tutoring Approach

Dissipating stress, and increasing self-confidence are very important for mathematical success - so I always focus on encouraging and strengthening every student's skill base.
No student should feel embarrassed or guilty about any gap in their knowledge - it is no problem for me to take a step back and explain anything they've missed (or even forgotten) - and it does not matter how far back that topic might have been from.
My ultimate goal is to help them find an enthusiasm for conquering challenging problems!
