I'm a Maths teacher from Shetland who has moved down to Durham.
Tutoring Experience
I have been teaching full time Maths since 2005. I have also been tutoring pupils in Mathematics since 2003. My teaching was from ages 11-18, with some weekly problem solving sessions in upper Primary, down to age 8. I have also helped ex-tutoring students who needed help with University level Mathematics.
Tutoring Approach
I believe in building confidence by finding out the areas where the foundation of the student's understanding is weak. With encouragement and appreciable success, I hope to increase students ability to see the interconnected areas of mathematics.
