Hi,

I'm Mark. I am currently working as Assistant Head of Science in a fairly large comprehensive school. I have 12 years experience of teaching Key Stage 3 science, GCSE science and A-level chemistry. I have a fantastic track record of producing excellent results and can provide many resources to aid learning. As I am currently working as a teacher I have an up to date DBS check.

Tutoring Experience

During my 12 years as a teacher I have also successfully tutored many students on a one to one basis.

Tutoring Approach

I have a friendly, laid back approach to tutoring. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and can direct the lessons if they so wish. I will work closely with the students to identify the areas that they are having difficulty with and tailor the sessions around their needs. Within the lessons the students will also have the opportunity to attempt exam questions with guidance. All resources will be provided.
