I am a fully qualified maths teacher with 8 years of in-class teaching experience in London secondary schools: six form college and a grammar school.
My passion is teaching GCSE maths and help students achieve high grades. I have a degree in maths(5 years) from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria and I can explain difficult maths concepts in a simple and effective way by braking down a hard topic into smaller chunks that students understand. The methods I teach to the students help them progress fast.

I believe that my expertise makes me very suitable for private tuition one to one. Being passionate about maths and having great subject knowledge helps engage the students, so they learn maths with understanding the concepts logically, learn the right terminology and this leads to great results. Moreover, I can contribute to raising students' achievements and inspire love of maths as I help students improve their problem-solving and algebra skills. My approach to teaching and learning is inclusive to students with different abilities and different learning styles.

Tutoring Approach

I assess the student's maths skills. Then I take a note of the strong and weak points and we focus on the weak topics.
The homework will be assigned on a special website to practice the weak topics and also could be a GCSE paper or worksheet so the students practice independently.
