I am an experienced and confident teacher and have taught students from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds with a range of different requirements, needs and goals. I am kind and patient and take the time to understand each student so I can work with them to attain the results they deserve.

Tutoring Experience

An experienced English teacher who has taught a variety of levels in the UK and USA. I have been involved with creating curriculum and tutoring students in exam prep. I have experience teaching KS2-KS5 (UK) and grades 9-12 including SATs (USA). I have QTS and a FL teaching license.

Tutoring Approach

It is important to assess my student strengths and weaknesses and establish their preferred learning style. I also like to find out what motivates them and to identify what drives them. I then work with them to hone their skills, build confidence and improve their competence.
