I am a vastly experienced primary school teacher with successful teaching experience throughout the primary school age range (EYFS - Y6). I teach face-to-face and online through Zoom.

Tutoring Experience

I have a vast experience teaching and have been tutoring alongside this for a number of years now. Throughout this time, I have taught children with SEND and those of whom English is not their home language. I specialise in reading, writing and mathematics. I am particularly passionate about the importance of reading. Confidence in reading, in my opinion, is the key to enjoyment and progression in all other academic areas.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to always be supportive in my approach. Welcoming and approachable, my lessons are finely tailored to the needs of the children I teach and are planned in logical steps. I love to see how children blossom once they are given the time and attention by me, that is often lacking within the competing demands of a class full of 30 children and their one teacher.
