Hola! I’m Maria and I am a qualified native Spanish tutor with several years experience teaching adults and preparing students for their GCSE, IGCSE, A-Levels.

My students describe me as dedicated, friendly, patient and enthusiastic. I am passionate about teaching Spanish and always ensure that my student’s learning experience is positive and rewarding.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Spanish to adults for many years and for different purposes, for example leisure, relocation, holidays, business etc.

I taught IGCSE and A-level Spanish for four years at Tring Park School with excellent results, until I decided to continue with my private students only due to having my first son.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that the best way to learn is in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, to encourage and motivate students, and to make the process of learning Spanish efficient and enjoyable.

I engage my students using different sources and techniques, adapting the course based on my student’s objective and level, motivating them to speak Spanish from the very first day!
