I am a native Russian speaker and a qualified (MA) Teacher and Interpreter. I come from St Petersburg in Russia and have lived in the UK for 20 years. I have over 20 years experience in teaching privately and in schools.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and National Register of Public Service Interpreters.
I conduct oral GCSE and A level Russian exams in schools. I can help in preparation for Russian state exams.

Tutoring Experience
20 years. All levels. My students normally get A or A* in their Russian GCSE or A-level exams. I teach privately on Skype, Zoom and at home. Can teach groups. Students taking GCSE and A Level at the oral exam which I conduct normally get a full set of top marks each year. In 2020-21 and 2022-2023 taught Russian at the University of Birmingham.
Tutoring Approach
I have all the materials necessary and can recommend good text books and other resources.
I can guide in what materials to use, what books to read, how to improve all aspects of language learning including phonetics, grammar, conversation, translation, listening etc. I can emphasise one aspect if necessary but normally I concentrate on balanced coverage of all aspects. I can help prepare for Russian state exams for people willing to work in Russia, I have all materials for that.
