Maria Laura

Ciao! My name is Maria Laura and I’m Italian bread and born. I spent the last five years in London, where I studied for an PhD that very recently was awarded. Previously, while in Italy, studied Architecture, History of Art, Fashion and Italian cinema. I love cooking Italian food for family and friends sharing my grandmother’s recipes but also experimenting new ones.

Tutoring Experience

During the last two years I have also taught Italian language and culture at UCL. Before moving to UK, I worked for five years as a trained teacher in secondary schools.

Tutoring Approach

In I’m passionate about teaching my native language and culture, and I would like to do in different ways and at different levels depending on the learner.
