Bonjour, you! I'm a French-born, Glasgow-based I’m a novelist, freelance writer and co-host of an online book club, with seven years of experience working in the publishing industry. My roles and freelance projects, which span across countries, languages and industries, inform my creative flair and make me an organised, communicative and curious individual.
I hold a Bacherlor's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Montreal and a Master's in International Publishing from City, Universtiy of London, which was funded by the Entente Cordiale scholarship.
I'm passionate about language and storytelling, and I believe that each student learns differently. I can offer a broad range of teaching methods, from formal, grammatical learning to the more conversational, interests-based end of teaching, so get in touch if you'd like to discuss.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Margaux
I have experience teaching French to children and adults, and I’ve given lectures and trainings on the topics of literature and writing before. I'm a language learner myself too: French is my native language; English is my first language, in which I live, work and write; I also have working knowledge of the Italian and Spanish languages.
As a writer who reads a lot, in various languages and translation, I’m passionate about storytelling and this is the lens through which I approach communication and mentoring. I believe each student learns differently and I'm keen to get to know my students well enough so I can adapt my teach methods, lifting from written, spoken and listening resources, and picking topics that are of the student's interest.
