I am highly qualified teacher rated 'Outstanding' by the Institute of Education(UCL). I specialise in English Literature and Language (GCSE), Politics (A level), French (GCSE) and English as a Foreign language (Adult learners). I am also an experienced tutor having achieved the ‘Top Tutor Award’ from one of London's Elite tutoring agencies.
As a dynamic and performance-driven professional, I have hands on experience managing class room activities, developing curriculum, administrating exam papers, and helping tutees exceed their target grades.

Tutoring Experience

I hold a BA from the University of York in Politics with International Relations and am currently completing an MA in War Studies at Kings College London whilst continuing my work as a professional tutor.
My training as a Secondary School English Teacher through the Teach First Programme involved the completion of a Post Graduate Diploma in Education(PGDE) at the Institute of Education (Ranked number one for education worldwide). I have 3 years of classroom experience, teaching English at KS3 and KS4, as well as teaching English as a Foreign Language (for which I have obtained a CertTESOL from Trinity College London).

Recent Highlights in tutoring include:

Tutoring Approach

My world class teacher training has equipped me with the latest pedagogical insights which means that my approach is evidence based and relies on tried-and-tested teaching techniques.
I adopt a student centred approach by identifying my student’s learning capabilities and learning needs. I then design course material based on these individual requirements and deliver carefully tailored lessons. I believe in fostering positive and lasting relations with my students to promote confidence and build motivation. My familiarity with the exam specifications and the requirements for each grade boundaries allows me to maximise learning outcomes and help students hit or exceed their targets.
