I am a qualified English language teacher and former legal professional with over ten years’ teaching experience. I can teach English for a variety purposes including: KS2, SATS preparation,11+, KS3 English, GCSE English Language and Literature and all Cambridge ESOL exams (IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, etc). I am also experienced in delivering Business and Legal English classes (EFL), job interview skills sessions and writing skills booster classes. I can further assist with literacy skills test preparation and GCSE equivalency exams.

Tutoring Experience

After successfully completing a Master of Laws in 2005, I worked as a legal practitioner across Europe for a number of years before opting for a career change that led me to become an English teacher. My international background and fluency in several European languages have equipped me with excellent communication skills and an ability to understand and teach a culturally diverse student population. Being a linguist myself, I am familiar with most aspects of language learning.
I am currently tutoring several students online from all over the world with excellent results. My range of tutees varies from secondary school, to University entry, to young professionals looking for career progression. Throughout my English teaching career, I have helped numerous students realise their full potential in the language, empowering them to successfully achieve their academic and career goals.

Tutoring Approach

I guide students through the learning process while generating full awareness and understanding of the subject of study. My lessons are bespoke and accurately designed to best suit individual needs. Whilst striving to create a stable learning environment, I target specific problem areas to ensure the best possible learning outcomes. I am enthusiastic and committed; I like to adopt innovative teaching methodologies that allow students to enjoy themselves and learn more about the world around them while improving their English language skills
