I’m a qualified Aeronautical Engineer who enjoys tutoring Maths part time, I provide GCSE Maths & Further Maths tuition. Having studied Maths for many years while obtaining my Master’s degree in Engineering, I utilise my knowledge to help others through tuition. Tutoring Approach

I like to think of myself as a coach, too often tutors get caught up in showing off their knowledge, and they lose focus on their students’ learning. I ask questions to get my students to think deeply about they’re learning. As a tutor, I like to think of my student as the one who should be doing the explaining. I provide clear, well structured and thought out explanations followed by various examples. Once the student has picked up a basic understanding of a topic and can handle some examples, I ease them into exam past paper questions. I use this approach for all topics. I teach my students studying techniques that can also be applied to other subjects and ensure all my students are well prepared for every exam.
