I am an experienced actor looking to help prospective drama school students prepare for their auditions. I have experience on stage, screen, radio and am also a playwright and so work closely with text.
I have run drama workshops for young people for a number of years as well as directing a number of screen and stage productions. I have 5 years of experience as a professional actor and wish to impart this knowledge onto my students.
We will work through the chosen monologues whilst also teaching some of the techniques you will learn at drama school, such as alexander technique, vocal technique and acting exercises such as actioning and meisner technique. We will also work through the basics of approaching classical texts, paying mind to the verse structure and vocab choice.
