Psychology and Urdu Lessons in Redbridge

I hold a Combined Honours degree in Psychology and Criminology, and a Master’s in Criminology. I also hold the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, a nationally recognised qualification that demonstrates my understanding of effective teaching methods, lesson planning, and inclusive learning. This has helped me build structured, engaging sessions tailored to each student’s learning style.

I am DBS cleared and have over a decade of experience working in two major public-sector organisations in the UK. During this time, I developed strong mentoring and communication skills, supporting individuals from all backgrounds through job applications, interviews, and professional development. I bring that same supportive and practical approach to my tutoring, whether you're working towards exams or preparing for your next career step.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently tutoring early years children in Urdu and enjoy creating fun interactive resources for my younger learners. For the older children, I have been translating popular children's English books into Urdu to make learning fun.

Alongside this, I support GCSE, A-level, and university students in Psychology and Criminology, offering help with exam preparation, essay writing and research skills. I also coach adults and students on CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation, drawing from my own extensive experience going through high-level selection processes and promotion boards.

Throughout my previous professional roles, I regularly mentored colleagues and supported their progression. That mentoring experience now translates into patient, structured, and tailored tutoring that meets each learner’s needs.

Tutoring Approach

I’m flexible and have different ideas about how to teach different types of people. Everyone learns differently, and so I take time to understand each person’s learning style and goals.

I also use real-world examples where helpful, especially for subjects like Criminology and Psychology, to make learning more relevant and engaging. For students preparing for work placements, interviews, or job applications, I add in career coaching into our sessions as needed.
