Mahim

I am a scientist who worked in the genetics industry, both in the laboratory and in business, and now I am a full-time teacher. I started my training in September 2023 and I am looking to complete my PGCE with QTS by the next academic year. I moved to education because of my passion to empower children and young people. I enjoy doing many different sports and volunteering in the community, in my spare time.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since 2008 and now teach across schools in the West Midlands. I am a Teacher of Science, and I specialise in Chemistry and Biology up to the university level. I teach and tutor in Physics and Mathematics up to AS Level (first year of A Levels). I tutor in Geography, Economics, and Business studies at A Level and I also taken Biology related and business related subjects up to university level.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach involves pedagogical techniques that are tailored to each student I work with. I teach to the top, ensuring the student can explore as many opportunities in life as possible. I work with individual students to identify the best method for them to learn, and we work together to aim high and achieve the highest possible grades.
