Hi, my name is Maddie and I'm a third year medical student! I have wanted to be a doctor since a very young age, and in order to get to where I am I have had to work very hard, particularly in school. At A level I managed to get 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, so I know all the tips and tricks of how to revise for both GCSE and A levels. I would love to help you achieve your absolute best potential and to do really well in your exams.

I already have some tutoring experience for A Level Chemistry and I have helped give revision sessions to medical students in younger years. As I have already taken the exams you will be taking, I feel that I am very qualified to help you understand your science subjects. Whether it is the very basics that you need help with, or the top tier exam questions, I am here to help you understand and succeed.

I am also very friendly and encourage you to tell me what you want help with, rather than me deciding this for you - never be scared to ask me a question, that's what I am here for!

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored A Level Chemistry on a different website so I am used to the online format, but I am willing to travel to you if you are not too far.

I have also mentored younger students on the medicine course, including leading revision sessions and teaching topics from scratch - I have experience of this both online and face to face.

Tutoring Approach

I have a collaborative approach - we decide together what you need most help with and start from there. I try to make our learning environment as relaxed as possible, so that you feel comfortable asking me questions throughout the session.

I also try to make it very interactive so that you are doing questions with me, rather than me talking at you about a topic - you learn best through practice, not just listening!
