My name is Lucy and I am a Mathematics and Physics student at the University of Warwick. I achieved all 9s in my GCSEs as well as attaining two academic scholarships to a leading independent school in London. I also achieved all A/A* in my four A Levels.
Tutoring Experience
I worked for a year at Mathnasium teaching maths to students aged 5-16 during sixth form. I have been teaching maths privately since the age of 16, predominantly to GCSE and A-Level students. I also have experience tutoring primary school students in preparation for the 11+
Tutoring Approach
I am enthusiastic and engaged which helps my students get the most out of their lessons. I believe the most effective way of improving a student's knowledge and understanding is to work on their weaknesses. I will identify the area of struggle and we will do lots of focused/exam specific practice.
