My name is Lucy, I am 28 old and currently living in Manchester. I am currently working as a Primary School teacher to a Year 4 class (aged 8 to 9). I love teaching - it is so fulfilling!

Tutoring Experience

I have 4 years experience altogether. I completed my PGCE in 2019 and have been a class teacher at a school in Manchester ever since. Before completing my PGCE, I taught English to children in Vietnam for a year.

Tutoring Approach

My aim as a teacher is to inspire and motivate every child to develop a lifelong zest for learning, which is why I put the children at the heart of everything I do! I am a kind, friendly and supportive teacher. I believe I can create a learning environment where children strive to do their best, as I have equally high expectations of myself! I am hard working, resilient and caring, whilst always ensuring my lessons resonate with the children I teach which leaves them excited to learn again. I encourage the children I teach to reach their potential and love to challenge children further to deepen learning.
