I'm currently in my fourth year of an integrated masters degree in mechanical engineering at The University of Bristol and love having the ability to learn about the subject using maths, physics, and chemistry. I also get to partake in lots of laboratories and design projects which is also great. I have achieved a first class honours in my completed 3 years at university.
I have 400+ hours of online tutoring experience and have been doing it for over 2 years now. I am experienced in tutoring of all ages.
My structures for the lessons will consist of covering the theory first and solidifying a good understanding of the topic. Then I find the most effective way of perfecting the topic is done by lots of practice. So I like to mainly base my lessons around working through problems with the student. It is important when encouraging learning to not dwell on mistakes made, as making mistakes in answering questions enables a learning process of correcting the mistakes, which is a very effective way of understanding the topic.
Progress can be measured by the students increasing their ability to independently answer the questions surrounding the topic.
