I am a native French speaker and an enthusiastic French and Spanish teacher in a secondary school and sixth form. I can teach Spanish for KS3 and KS4 and French up to A-Level and more. Outside the classroom, I love fitness, reading, dancing and spending time with my family and friends.
I have been teaching for 4 years in a secondary school and sixth-form in London. My familiarity with Eduqas and AQA for GCSE and AQA and Edexcel for A-Level allows me to tailor my lessons according to the requirements of different exam boards. My students would describe me as a kind, patient and enthusiastic individual who loves to share her knowledge and culture in French.
I have also been tutoring for a year from primary children to A-Level students.
I have successfully raised attainment and enthusiasm towards languages both in the classroom and in tutoring: a former pupil is now studying French at Oxford University and another one is going to study French in Bath University next year.
I will adapt my teaching according to my students' needs: conversational, grammar, writing etc. Listening, reading, writing and speaking are all important parts of learning a language which is why I like to cover all of them during a lesson. It is important for me to tailor my lessons to students' interests too: this will make learning more fun and relevant.
