Bonjour, je m’appelle Lucie. I was born and grew up in the Loire Valley, France, and also studied in France. I have been living in the UK for the last 20 years and worked in bilingual high-level workplaces.
I have 5 years of experience teaching children and adults, for various levels and needs.
I have a Baccalauréat and a BA in Languages (English and German). I also have a BA in European Economy and Management and an MSc in International Business.

Tutoring Experience

I’m experienced with working in bilingual business environments in both English and French.

I’ve taught French as a side job since I moved to the UK, and more recently, I‘m really happy I made the decision to teach French full time. I enjoy everything about it and will be happy to help you in your French learning journey.

I’m now an Alliance Française certified French Tutor and believe in the importance of ongoing training to constantly improve my teaching methods.

I teach children and adult learners, from beginner to advanced levels, in private one-to-one tuitions both face to face and online.

Tutoring Approach

I create personalised lessons and documents you always have access to, that you can edit, and that you can keep after the lessons have taken place.

I like to use as many different learning materials as possible and remain ludic and interactive. I prepare my lessons using songs, news articles, pictures, poems, traditions, conversation game exercises, and many more to improve your speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills.
