Luc

Hi, I'm Luc, and I'm currently in my fourth year of Medicine at the University of Glasgow.

As someone who has had the experience of both being tutored myself and tutoring before, I know the hurdles and challenges only too well. Everyone learns differently, and with that sentiment at the helm, my tutoring style offers adaptability in multiple facets; from over-the-shoulder supervision to independent feedback, from worked examples to concurrent marking sessions.

Tutoring Experience

I have previously led workshops and study sessions for younger students during high school as STEM Captain, and have gained further experience at University within peer mentoring initiatives.

I am best equipped to tutor the following:
Maths - Higher, National 5
Chemistry - Higher, National 5
Biology - National 5
Human Biology - Higher

I can also offer Medicine application guidance, personal statement input and mentoring for interviews as well as preparation for the UCAT entry exam.

As someone who works with people day in, day out on placement in hospitals as part of my degree, I'd like to think of myself as an approachable, friendly person with a relaxed and calm attitude. No matter what your end aspiration or current working level is, I will do my utmost to help you get the results you want with tailored approaches to each individual student.
