My name is Louise and I am primary teacher and tutor.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a primary teacher in Scotland for 12 years. Throughout this time I have taught all year groups as well as well as teaching small groups numeracy and maths for the support for learning team. I have tutored numerous children over the years from P1 to S4. I can support your child with phonics, reading, writing skills, Numeracy and maths skills. I can also teach National 4 maths and National 5 Applications of Maths.
I can support your child with homework, identify gaps in learning and use follow up task to consolidate the learning. If you child has particular area they have special interest in I can also tutor in this.
I provide homework support, group tuition and 1:1 tutoring. I mainly work online but can sometime offer in person tutoring as well.

Tutoring Approach

I like to engage my students and make learning interesting and fun. I enjoy getting to know students interests to help motivate them with targeted learning.
My students report they are more confident in the areas taught and can confidently answer questions in class.
