Louise Clare

I am a friendly and enthusiastic History Teacher with a real passion for my subject. I have been teaching for 12 years and have taught children from the age of 11 to 18.

I'm very well-organised and motivated and would love to help any tutees with any difficulties they are faced with History. I have very good resources and have access to past paper questions and mark schemes and I am aware of what is needed to meet exam requirements. I am also an exam marker for GCSE AQA History so have a thorough knowledge of what the exam board expects from GCSE candidates.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently teaching GCSE History and A Level History. I have been teaching for 12 years.

I have given tutorials to pupils I have taught at GCSE and A Level and always provide revision classes before summer exams.

I am also currently an exam marker for the exam board AQA so I am up to date with relevant knowledge of exam criteria.

Tutoring Approach

I am passionate about History and I'm an enthusiastic tutor with a good sense of humour.

It is important that every tutoring programme is produced with the interests and learning styles of the individual tutee taken into consideration. I am flexible and will adapt my lessons and teaching to suit the needs of tutees and make sure they have a thorough grasp of the content. I am happy to teach via zoom.
