I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher of 20 years, and I also examine for the Edexcel exam board. I receive excellent feedback in helping students to achieve above their target grades. Prior to teaching, I worked in business insolvency, and have had a good insight into global business having also worked in North Carolina, US.

I left the classroom in July 2021 in order to become a full-time online tutor.

Tutoring Experience

I taught in two outstanding sixth form colleges during my career, prior leaving to become a full-time tutor. As an experienced Edexcel Examiner for A-Level Business Paper 1 (9BS01) and Paper 3 (9BS03), I participate in annual standardisation and in-depth training. This insider experience allows me to gain the most up-to-date and relevant understanding of the marking process, and I share this knowledge with my students.

I am passionate about teaching Business and I love to discuss the real world business environment. I am an enthusiastic and engaging teacher with a wealth of experience helping young people achieve high grades. I am driven by student progress, positive engagement, and researching more about the ever-changing real business world, both domestically and globally. This allows me to apply business theory to real, current examples.
