Online Maths and Physics Lessons

I am a qualified science teacher with nearly 10 years experience teaching Biology, Physics and Chemistry at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A Level across a range of schools and exam boards. I have also taught BTEC and IB certificates.

I have tutored students across all scientific disciplines for 8 years, at all levels and helped my clients achieve excellent results in their examinations. Please see my reviews for more information.

I attended the Royal Latin School and went on to achieve a 2:1 in Neuroscience from the University of Bristol.

I have 4 As at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, English Literature and Philosophy and Ethics.

Tutoring Experience

Head of KS3 Science, Head of KS4 Science and Science Teacher for 8 years (since 2014).

As a science teacher myself, I have over 8 years experience teaching students ranging from 9 years old to 18 years old.

I have taught at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A Level for all sciences. I have also tutored students in science for 8 years, at all levels and helped my clients achieve excellent results in their examinations.

As well as teaching science at secondary level, I am also a qualified swimming instructor, with over 12 years experience in coaching both large groups of swimmers and private one-on-one teaching, with students ranging from 2 years old to 40 years old.

I have also run primary school science fairs and completed a Community Sports Leadership Award where I coached younger students in the community.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that every child has the power to be successful in whatever they need to do as long as they have the confidence to pursue it.

For this success to be cultivated, I believe a tutor needs to be patient and tailor their sessions to be personalised for that particular student and their individual needs. This will enable their confidence to be built in a subject in the way that best suits their learning style.

As a teacher myself, I understand that many students work best through a one-to-one approach, yet this isn't always possible to achieve in a busy classroom environment.
