I am an experienced teacher who has taught every year in the primary education systems in England and Scotland.

Before becoming a primary teacher, I was a peripatetic French and Spanish teacher.

Passionate about maths, english and all languages I love helping students whatever their age become more confident!

I have completed lots of additional training to support Neurodiverse learners and worked with many different types of learner adapting resources and teaching methods to match needs.

Specialist in Maths. - looking. at every step from Early Years to end of primary and look at the gaps and what is needed next for fluency and mastery.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is developed to support individual needs and outcomes.

Initial discussions with both the student and parent / carer means that tutoring can be tailored to mee the student needs and pace of learning. We will also discuss and agree what we are working on and what that will look like as progress is made.

Happy to teach in person - travel costs to be negotiated but post pandemic, online tends to be the preferred option.

Happy to teach online too and able to use a mix of online tools tailored to what is being worked on. These work really well as we work together too and also set work between sessions to consolidate learning. Layered and spaced learning is really important to understand concepts over time.
