My name is Liz and I am a qualified primary school teacher, now working as a private tutor, tutoring children from Early years through to and including year 7.
I love to read and write stories, to enjoy a walk in the country and then to come home and cook a hearty meal for my family.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 25 years of experience teaching in the primary classroom from Early years to Year 6. I have spent many years teaching children across the curriculum, as well as focusing on specific areas with children with additional needs.

Tutoring Approach

I am a friendly, smiley tutor, who believes that I can get the best out of children when they enjoy the session. I try to include a mixture of games, activities and formal work within my sessions, but always try to ensure that we laugh. I love to work with children and see that lightbulb moment when they 'get it'. It's the best feeling in the world.
