My name is Lisa. I currently teach Mathematics at a local secondary school, ages 11-16. I am a kind, patient and enthusiastic educator, looking for opportunities to help children to increase their confidence and fulfil their potential.
Tutoring Experience
I have been teaching Mathematics for a few years, to KS3 & GCSE students. I thoroughly enjoy the interactions with young people, and can quickly adapt my teaching to suit their needs.
Tutoring Approach
I will provide tailored and structured lessons for your child. This will involve clear explanations, modelled examples and practice questions. Regular work will also be set to ensure successful application, retention and consolidation of knowledge. I value and welcome any feedback from my students and their parents, to ensure I am providing the best support for them.
