Lisa has guided my daughter through her senior years at high school. Amy progressed from NAT 5 chemistry to Higher chemistry and finally to Advanced Higher chemistry. Amy now has 2 offers for medicine and 2 for pharmacy.
Lisa has actively encouraged, supported and guided Amy through the curriculum, which has been invaluable support to Amy.
Very grateful and appreciative for finding such a dedicated and supportive tutor.

We engaged Lisa as a Chemistry tutor for our son who was studying advance higher. His prelim result was a D, and a place at his first choice university was contingent on him getting a B grade. We had a relatively short and intense period of tutoring with Lisa, from early March to mid May. I had reservations about the sessions being over video link, but those were unfounded. My son loved the tutoring sessions with Lisa. She had great rapport with my son, and worked with him to focus on the ‘biggest bang for buck’ areas, given the short timeframe. Lisa was reliable, and had great communications with me over arrangements. She made a significant impact on my son’s knowledge, confidence, and his ability to answer questions in an exam setting. As a result, my son got a B band 3 and this has helped him secure a place at his first choice University studying Genetics. I would highly recommend Lisa as a tutor. My son’s view: ‘I couldn’t have done it without her - that’s a fact’.

My daughter is absolutely delighted with the support Lisa has given her so far. Her confidence has grown significantly after only a couple of sessions. My daughter is easily able to take on board and understand both the subject and, importantly, SQA requirements for Higher Chemistry due to the excellent way Lisa approaches each session.
