Highly Qualified Mental health specialist, life coach and Senior social worker with a Master's in Social work. I support students to help them successfully pass the social work course and assignments. I provide an open and comfortable environment to facilitate reflective practice.

I am a qualified social worker, Mental health specialist, tutor and an Executive life coach with a master's in social work and a BA in youth and community work. I have worked as a senior clinician and a Clinical lead social worker within the NHS Trust's community mental health and crisis treatment teams. I have extensive experience in line managing and offering supervision to social work students, support workers and social workers. I also have experience working as a mental health manager and senior clinician within charities that support clients who are refugees fleeing torture from different parts of the world.

I have extensive experience working with survivors of PTSD, Torture and domestic violence. Much of the work has included providing trauma-focused interventions and therapeutic interventions to help people overcome their difficulties and look forward to achieving personal goals in their lives.

I also have a decade of experience working within the children and families sector; I spent much time working within councils' referral and assessment teams and child protection teams. I have experience in providing consultations and tutoring to social work students, social workers and social work managers on how to work with survivors of domestic abuse effectively. I provide support around university assignments and exam preparation, and I also offer reflective practice discussions.

Tutoring Approach

My area of expertise are Social work, psychology. I also specialise in religious studies. Students studying in any of these subjects are very welcome to get in touch. I also work with students who have ADHD, Dyslexia and, Dyspraxia.
My approach to working is also about providing a tailored approach that considers your learning style, needs, and process. I am keen on establishing this at the first session and would like to collaborate with you to ensure we find the right approach that makes you feel at ease and helps you pass your course, exams, and assignments successfully!

I specialize in tutoring students who wish to specialize in the children and families sector and the mental health field. I can help university Social work students at all levels, including BA and MSC students. I am skilled in supporting students to get through the course successfully by enabling them to prepare for assignments and exams. I help with proofreading, placement challenges, and boosting confidence to successfully pass the course and placement. I also touch on health and well-being to ensure it is in a good place while on your journey towards becoming a social worker or towards your chosen career!
