I am now semi-retired and living in La11 near Lindale.
I am described by former students as very patient, encouraging and nurturing, but also with high expectations of, and for my students.
Conscientious and reliable, I will work hard to help my students to achieve their best.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught for more than 25 years in a range of schools: mixed, state and private, secondary and sixth form.
I have mostly taught the edexcel A level syllabus, including core maths, mechanics, statistics and decision modules.

Tutoring Approach

Once we have found the right starting point, and identified areas that need work, I believe in building confidence and understanding through plenty of routine skills practice alongside exam questions, and regular revisits to previous topics.
