I enjoy studying as well as passing on my knowledge to other people. I have been through exams and understand the importance of finding a learning method that suits a person. I know the stress that comes along with school and exams, having experienced it myself recently. I enjoy communicating and I am always willing to help out.

Tutoring Experience

Over the past couple of years, I have helped a few students in several age ranges pass their exams. The youngest have been primary school children, where their SATS scores have been high as well as helping them pass their 11+ exams. I have also been teaching a couple of older students for their GCSE exams, explaining the concepts in certain subjects. I am comfortable teaching up to GCSE English literature and language. I also have knowledge of A-level Maths, Biology and Chemistry. My experiences also expand to undergraduate students with their English grammar and referencing skills, explaining and teaching them in a simple way. As someone who is bilingual, speaking both Polish and English, I am comfortable in explaining the basics of the English language in an approachable way.

Tutoring Approach

Having experience with students of different ages and abilities, I have learned a teaching approach to pass on my knowledge. This, therefore, makes me think carefully and plan exactly what I will be covering in lessons, making sure not to rush through concepts and that the student themselves understand what I am explaining in an easy way. I make sure that in all lessons we get through both the content and exam practice. I also offer tips for how to learn and for the exam itself so that the student is confident in themselves. I am optimistic and I am always positive, always making sure that there is communication from both myself and the student.
