Tutoring Experience

Experience of teaching Spanish, French and German up to A-level, and Spanish up to University level. Also extensive experience of teaching English language up to A level and English as a second language, including English for Academic Purposes at various UK Universities.

Tutoring Approach

Two thirds of my life have been spent in the language classroom, both as teacher and student. This experience gives me excellent insight into the language learning process, and informs my lesson planning and teaching style. I continue to study languages (currently Portuguese), which provides me with insight into and empathy with, the processes in which my students find themselves.
