I have developed a secure, deep understanding of the Law through my experience in the Legal System, my own education and working in the education sector.
I have worked in Civil Litigation, but also have experience in Criminal Law and Property Law. Through my work in education, my experience of further areas has developed.
I hope that I can impart this knowledge onto those who are willing to learn and engage with the Law.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked as a teacher for a number of years now, in secondary and further education. I now work in a leading Sixth Form College, as a Teacher and Head of Subject, which has won many awards for its work. I have also gained further experience in the examination process by working as an examiner and also as part of a team developing a new Law examination series.

Although I have experience in teaching the above on a day-to-day basis, I have knowledge and experience in other areas through my own studies and employment which I can assist in.

Tutoring Approach

I like to use an open and discussion based form of teaching, based on exploring the Law, developing understanding and identifying any weak areas that can be openly considered together.
As well as this, I would look to set written tasks to be completed as consolidation and further revision.
My current teaching mainly focuses on A Level and BTEC Law, however, I am open to Degree level and general interest students. Through my own experience I feel that I would be able to assist in these further areas.
