I am a PGCE qualified GCSE History teacher with 3 years experience. Looking to assist GCSE History students with option B 20th century history topics such as WW1, The Interwar Years, and The Cold War.

As a former military and corporate professional, I have a broad range of experience in teaching and mentoring roles, in disciplined and structured environments, with a focus on cultivating individual excellence across various levels of mental ability.

During my time at an international technology company I trained and mentored graduates and junior consultants for success in a highly demanding and competitive environment, whilst also delivering company-wide lectures and presentations on various topics ranging from business strategy to personal development.

During my military career I assisted in the instruction and mentoring of recruits undergoing various levels of training, from basic to advance, helping to prepare recruits for final commando tests and successful qualification as elite infantry soldiers in Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Commandos.

Whilst deployed on operations in Afghanistan I helped inform and influence strategic decisions by collecting and analysing ground level intelligence. I also helped to maintain and develop overall effectiveness of combat troops by delivering training and mentoring on a wide variety of topics.

Overall I am results-driven person, with a proven track record of success in training and mentoring, a strong belief in leadership by example, and a desire to inspire and shape young minds in the right direction.
