Discovering Mr. Leigh was a turning point for Dominic’s understanding of math. Not only did he provide the confidence Dominic had been lacking, but he was also patient, working at a pace that suited Dominic’s needs. At the start of his final GCSE year, Dominic was on track for a D at best, but thanks to Mr. Leigh’s support, he achieved a B in his actual exam. We are incredibly grateful for his help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others.

Leigh tutored my son in the months running up to his iGCSE maths exam this summer, and was brilliant. His B grade is testimony to the solid revision and confidence he gave my son.
Leigh was interactive and listened well to what my son felt were his weaker areas - did not 'talk down' to him in any way. He made sure my son felt confident in his weaker areas and my son looked forward to their online tutorials together.

Leigh recently started tutoring my daughter in Mathematics and I have to say I was highly impressed from the beginning. Immediately I read his detailed and informative response to my first email to him, I knew I wanted him to tutor my daughter at all cost.

On the way home from his last lesson my son, who hates maths, unprompted said ‘Leigh is a godsend, I’m so glad we have found him. That was really fun and the lesson felt like it only lasted 5 minutes’. Leigh’s careful personalised approach seems to be breaking through the fog and my son is already gaining confidence and actively looks forward to lessons. A great relief for all of us. We found Leigh very enthusiastic and friendly with good time keeping for starting and finishing lessons. Leigh managed to help my 15 year old son understand a topic he had struggled with previously, called Surds. He also managed to help my younger son with a three step formula for doing multiplication without memorizing answers. We have found Leigh a pleasure to work online with Maths tutoring.

Sam has had 3 lessons so far and has found it very useful. He is able to say a bit about what he has been learning (which is a result for us!) and remembering helpful tips/mnemonics e.g. to remind him of quadratic equation steps. Leigh has been very good giving feedback on what he is covering via email, his teaching strategy (e.g. covering sam's weak areas and also focussing on prep for Exmas exams) including Sam's attitude.

Thanks for your review. Sam is responding very well to the program and its great that you're taking an active interest in his development. The memory techniques are especially helpful for him because, like other students his age, there is so much content to retain during this crucial exam year.

Leigh prepares my 15 yo son for his GCSE maths exam. We are very happy with the way Leigh structures his lessons in order to help my son to achieve higher results. Leigh explains things very thoroughly and is very patient. He has vast resources incl past exam papers to help my son to improve his performance. Leigh is also punctual, knowledgeable about GCSE curriculum and exam techniques and very well prepared for the lessons.

Our daughter was having difficulty with Maths, predominantly it would seem due to the style of teaching in her class as Leigh has been able to help her understand the areas she had concerns within the first lesson. Leigh is a fantastic tutor. Very knowable on the subject. He quickly identified my strengths and weakness. Is very good at breaking it down and explain in a clear way.
Also his online delivery is excellent **E-mail Address Removed**docs to create a live document that we can both work on at the same time.
Now that i have Leigh helping me I feel confidant that I will pass my up and coming exams.

Leigh is an excellent tutor Sophie has developed such confidence in maths since studying with him. Sophie says he is patient, kind and has an excellent way of explaining each area of maths so she understands and feels comfortable to work out the equations. We will definitely be continuing the tutoring sessions until Sophie's GCSEs, which I have no doubt with Leighs Guidance Sophie will pass with flying colours.
