My name is Leigh and I have been teaching for over eleven years now. I love helping students achieve, there is no better feeling! I have experience teaching and tutoring in a variety of subjects and recently started teaching English as a secondary language which I love!
Tutoring Experience
I have been a Primary School teacher for 11 years and have experience teaching all ages and students with additional needs. I have been tutoring children for the 11+ and Maths and English both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. I have recently completed my TESOL and am currently teaching English online as a secondary language to students in China. I also teach swimming.
Tutoring Approach
I am calm and patient with all my students. Everyone learns in different ways and at a different pace so it’s important to know how to adapt teaching to suit the students individual needs.
