I am newly qualified primary teacher with experience teaching children across all stages. I am highly motivated and enthusiastic about my role as a teacher, constantly striving to provide my students with high quality learning opportunities. In my teaching approach, I aim to integrate a range of hands-on learning experiences that will, in return, enrich students' learning journeys, enabling them to recognise the practical significance and purpose of their education.
I am a graduate from the University of Glasgow and have experience in teaching P1-P7. I am currently undertaking a masters degree in primary education, with the intention of simultaneously tutoring to enrich my experience within the domain. I have worked 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum and therefore have knowledge and experience in this.
I aim to provide a customised approach to each child I tutor. I prioritise getting to know each child on an individual basis and by conducting a thorough evaluation of their academic needs using established assessments. By doing this, I am therefore able to create individual targets and plan materials to align with each learners needs. I believe it is important to make the learning as captivating and enjoyable as I can, ensuring that students attain a strong sense of satisfaction and independe within their learning.
