I am a native French tutor with international experience, offering French lessons for adults and children.
Individuals or small groups.
My French lessons can be designed to prepare beginners to advanced level students for DELF and DALF exams, IB French exams as well as GCSE and A-Level exams.
I also specialize in teaching business French to professionals.
I have more than 20 years’ experience teaching French in Europe and have had the opportunity to accompany many students living in London in order to best support them in their learning of French.
My teaching method is adapted to each student, you will progress effectively, at your own pace.

Tutoring Experience

I have many years of experience teaching French in Europe, including online French lessons.
I worked full-time teaching French at a secondary school in the Czech Republic, as well as having my own Language School in Prague.
My clients included Xerox, Deloitte and Touche, Louis Vuitton, Elite, and many diplomatic families. I then taught in London with the French Institute, preparing and assessing students for the DELF and DALF exams. My students included many professionals from artists to bankers, who require a highly articulate level of French language skills.
Over the last 4 years, I have conducted my own tutoring business moving between France and Australia. I have now moved back to Europe where I teach online so that I can provide lessons to students all around the world.

Tutoring Approach

➤ Conversational French
These classes are designed to improve your oral fluency and comprehension.
This style of class is for those who want an introduction to French or to refresh and improve their French conversational skills and will suit those learning French for day to day life or simply to enjoy Belgium and French culture.
Course topics: Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, Reading, Vocabulary and Grammar.

➤ French for beginners
This style of course is designed to teach how to introduce yourself and get by in everyday life, with an approach to basic grammar.
You will progress according to your needs and at your own pace.
All beginner level material (A1 and A2), course reviews with vocabulary and exercises will be provided after each course by email.
Course topics: Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, Reading, Vocabulary and Grammar.

➤ DELF/DALF exams
I offer DELF and DALF courses to choose from A1 to C1 level to obtain the best grades for the certificate as much as feeling confident during the exam guaranteeing you 100% success.
The methods used are specific to the teaching of French as a foreign language (F.L.E)
My DELF & DALF preparation courses are personalized, adapted to your specific needs and pace allowing you to achieve your goals more effectively than in a group or classroom setting.

• I will design a personalized study plan for you, based on your specific needs and your language level.

• I offer an effective preparation with tailored learning materials (full range of DELF and DALF ressources and assessments).

• I will cover key areas such as listening, reading, writing and speaking and work meticulously to ensure that each area meets the required standards of the exam.

• For homework, I will assign you work to practice grammar if necessary, develop your vocabulary and prepare written and oral comprehension, written and oral production tasks. The homework will then be prepared and reviewed.

All aspects are covered: vocabulary, conjugation, grammar, phonetics, writing, spelling, reading and comprehension, newspaper articles, conversation, French and Belgium civilisation and culture.

➤GCSE/A-level French tuition
I can provide GCSE/A-level French tuition for a range of students of all different abilities.
Learning a foreign language can often be difficult, especially at GCSE/A level where students are taught how to pass the exams rather than learn the language itself. Students can sometimes struggle to interpret a whole text in another language, or to appreciate customs from another culture.
My French lessons are designed to focus on exam skills and how to succeed at the examinations, your GCSE/A-level tutor will work with you towards your four requirements of the exam:

• Reading

• Writing
• Speaking

I will ensure that you gain confidence in written and spoken French in time for the GCSE/A-level examinations.
If you or your child are studying for GCSE/A-level in French, and you need that extra one-to-one help, I will be available during the holidays and after-school hours.

➤ IB French tuition
I specialise in IB French tuition to support high school students.
I help you prepare effectively for your IB French exams, offering personalized IB French courses which focus on the four aspects of the language : listening, oral expression, written production, and written comprehension.

With my support, you will be able to :
