I am a 30 year old wife and first time mum to a 4 month old. I have studied psychology since A-Level and I have been teaching it for 6 years. I have also volunteered in mental health wards to apply theory to the everyday world.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 6 years and am an AQA examiner for 3 years. I started my career in a non grammar and I now work in a grammar school. This means I have worked with a range of abilities. I have been teaching A-Level for 6 years and GCSE for 3 years.

Tutoring Approach

I use a child centred approach and scaffold the work appropriately. I will assess the ability of the student and work with them. Where needed I will provide examples of effective structure and help the student to develop this whilst working on retrieval techniques.
