I'm an experienced secondary school Art Teacher currently working in Brighton on a supply basis. I have experience of teaching GCSE, Btec and Alevel Art and Design and some Photography/Graphics experience too. I have also worked with Primary School children.
I have 10 years of teaching experience in secondary schools teaching ages 11-18. I have taught GCSE courses, A Level, and BTEC as well as teaching Key Stage 3. I am confident in teaching all areas of Art and Design, printing, painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, Art History. I have had experience teaching Design Technology and Graphics and I have a good working knowledge of Photoshop. I am currently working as a supply teacher in a secondary school teaching the full range of subjects. I have also recently had experience of working with Primary school children.
My approach to tutoring will be very much tutee/parent led working towards clear goals and targets. We will be able to experiment with a range of techniques and materials to bring out tutees full potential while working towards any relevant qualifications.
